In lesson 7 you learned about safe sex and how to protect yourselves and your partner from STIs including HIV. The ABCDEF+ method was used to explain the different options you can choose from to prevent STIs and HIV infection.

In this lesson, you will get more detailed information on HIV and Aids and learn to distinguish between myths and facts. You are encouraged to go for HIV testing to ensure you know your status and learn what to do when HIV-positive or HIV-negative. You become aware of the impact the disease has on people in physical, emotional and social ways.

The lesson is wrapped up by coming up with your own realistic action plan on how you want to support people living with HIV in your own community.
